This is a listing of weeds we have in our yard, with descriptions, names (as best we can identify them), and methods of control (again, as best we can).
It might ultimately be better done as a series of posts, one for each weed.

Poison Ivy – flowers May-July, fruits August-November. So it seems it would best be attacked before it can come to seed.
Vines - several types of vines, including Black Swallowwort, and of course the poison ivy.
Maples -
Nettles -
Tree-of-Heaven – fast-growing, often found in unkempt urban areas. Leaves and branches have an unpleasant odor that is spread by touch.
